About Heritage Store

Heritage Store was born in 1969, an era known for its good vibes. Our founder, Tom Johnson, gave up his corporate life to seek deeper meaning. Passionate about the concept of the mind-body connection, he opened a wellness shop and called it the Heritage Store.

The store soon became a special space devoted to positive energy and community — it was even where our much-loved Rosewater was created. A lot has changed in the past 50 years, but we still celebrate minimal-ingredient products that are good for people and the planet.

Job Summary

This internship is an opportunity for someone passionate about graphic design to gain valuable hands-on experience with the Heritage Store brand, as well as other beauty brands under the Better Being Co. umbrella, including Life-flo and TheraNeem.

Essential Functions

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this intern will help bring various brand initiatives to life. Focus project areas include:

• Help create social media posts that correspond to the current monthly campaigns
• Help with updating labels and creating new renderings
• Create sales sheets and other assets requested by the Sales Team
• Assist with planning and executing in-house photoshoots
• Updating brand books

Job Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Must have knowledge of Macintosh computer systems as well as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Creativity: This is essential as you will be helping to create unique content and generate new ideas for future marketing initiatives
• Analytical: Use data and insights to determine strategies and ways forward
• Communication Skills: You will work with and provide deliverables to many people across the organization, so effective and timely communication is critical
• Teamwork: Strong intra-team leadership qualities and track record of effectively working with others on a team
• Project Management: Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and juggling multiple tasks and priorities at the same time

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear.
• The employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
