Better Horizons In-Home Care is hiring for a Registered Nurse!
We were started specifically to care for a local veteran who had lost his home care services with another agency and then expanded to care for others in the community in need. We work with veterans thru the Veterans Administration and consumers thru Medicaid in their home or facility. We require a valid drivers license and insurance, as you will drive your own vehicle to scheduled appointments. Experience working in-home is a plus but not necessary. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will work hand-in-hand with our agency administrator to comply with policies and procedures.
You can work in your office at our address or at your home with a provided laptop. We are located in the same building as Affordable Spas & Pools. Salary negotiable based on experience at $45-70,000/year.
Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Intake assessments of new clients and reassessments of current clients to monitor condition and assess needs
• Delegations of medical tasks to caregivers
• Managing appointments of assessments and delegations
• Documentation of assessments and visit notes
• Caregiver training of procedures and usage of equipment *Developing subject material for caregiver on-going education training
• Caregiver training for medication management
