Better Is Better LLC is Hiring a Caregiver Near Beallsville, PA

Job Description:

Better is Better LLC home care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide assistance in daily living activities and perform other related services in the home and/or workplace according to the needs of the residents.

Skills:

  • Positive attitude and or ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to handle physical demands (lifting, bending, carrying) as well as mental (thinking, writing, reading).
  • Ability to use and follow instructions as well as maintain open communication with the employer, residents, family members, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws relating to caregiving.
  • Caregiving experience preferred.
  • Willingness to undergo background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Caregiving experience preferred but not required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.
  • Encourage residents to do their own light housekeeping so they can get more independence.
  • Assist with meal preparation.
  • Assist with household maintenance such as washing dishes, mopping floors, and cleaning windows.
  • Perform household checks on a regular basis to make sure everything is in working order and all residents are safe.
  • Report any unusual incidents such as illness, injury, or change in resident condition to the Director of Operations or supervisor.
