Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelors degree preferred
• Beverage bottling/food manufacturing experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to access and problem solve at a high level
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Minimum five years supervisory experience
• Five or more years related experience in a manufacturing environment with emphasis in a food oriented industry

Specific Work Experience:

• Experience working in a union environment
• Must be able to lift and move items up to 40 lbs; carry, bend, walk, stoop, push, pull and twist
• Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold environment

Job Description:

The Sanitation Manager is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Ensure the facility is a clean, insect and rodent free environment by following up with the Sanitation Supervisor and our pest control company; abiding to the structure in which a food facility should be operating
• I consult with management to address compliance issues and make recommendations to improve processes
• Developing training programs related to the sanitation law and company best practices
• Conduct monthly plant inspections to ensure all other departments are keeping their departments/documentation and areas in a manner suitable to a food facility and Food Safety requirements
• Oversee the cleanliness of the entire facility and its property
• Manage staff, observe and document, provide performance feedback and coaching/counseling
• Work as a team member
• Follow all safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned by supervision/management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
