Position SummaryAs a Business Development Manager at PMI Galveston Bay, you will be responsible for driving the company's growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. They should be proactive, strategic, and able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have a realtor's license or be committed to obtaining one shortly after employment begins. They should have at least 2 years of sales experience and a strong knowledge of real estate, community, and homeowners' associations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and success. You will work closely with the marketing and operations teams to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue and enhance client satisfaction. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for new business development, focusing on generating leads and converting them into profitable client relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand industry trends that can impact our business.
  • Network and build relationships with potential clients, industry professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance analytics, using data to drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Regularly use and learn from CRM and property management software platforms to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Researches opportunities for acquisitions of other property management companies and identifies and facilitates onboarding process for large portfolio acquisitions.
  • Launches and leads initial growth of new business segments.
  • Develops and maintains company social media presence.
  • Leads sales teams in mail, cold call and direct marketing campaigns. Provides performance feedback and coaching as needed to team members in efforts to meet individual and company performance goals.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a realtor's license or a firm commitment to obtain one shortly after employment begins, demonstrating a dedication to professional growth and adherence to industry standards.
  • 2 years of sales experience.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate, as well as community and homeowners' associations.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft/Google Office Suite, and a willingness to engage in continuous learning of new software platforms.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to coach and mentor direct reports and manage performance as needed in efforts to allow improvement.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, trustworthiness, personal integrity, and honesty.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Mobile phone and computer with internet access to support work from home.
  • Must live in or near Galveston County, Texas.
Compensation & BenefitsThis is a commission based, contract position.Monthly Salary: Up to $7,000
