As our full-time Housekeeping Manager/Property Host, you’ll be the backbone of our Housekeeping Department. You will be responsible for training, managing, and supervising an outstanding team of cleaning staff. Your role will ensure seamless turnovers between check-out and check-in, guaranteeing each property is immaculate and prepared to welcome our guests.
Daily tasks will include scheduling inspections, monitoring the inventory of our cleaning and house supplies, as well as ensuring our equipment is in good working condition. Cleaning duties and performance evaluations are also part of this role to ensure we consistently exceed the expectations of our guests and owners.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Housekeeping Team:
    • Manage, train, and supervise a team of housekeepers.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
    • Create and maintain schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation.
  • Quality Control Checks:
    • Conduct regular quality control checks of rental units after each cleaning to ensure they meet company standards and guest expectations.
    • Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback and additional training to housekeeping staff as needed. Maintain detailed records of quality control inspections and corrective actions taken.
  • Cleaning Units:
    • Perform cleaning duties as needed to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in rental units.
    • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly and on time, including vacuuming, laundry, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
    • Coordinate with Property Host & Maintenance Staff to address any maintenance or repair issues identified during cleaning.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Order and stock items in the owner's closet at each location
    • Track and report inventory levels in the inventory management system
    • Organize and maintain the owner's closets at each location.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role with knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of housekeepers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and guests.
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to pass a background test & drug screening
  • Able to travel throughout Macomb & Oakland County
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
Compensation & BenefitsAnnual Salary: $42,000 - $45,000 annually based on experience and achievement
