Sprawling over 13 acres on nearly 600 feet of gorgeous beachfront, the new Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort is open for the 2023 season. Position SummaryIn this fast-paced position as a Line Cook, you will become an essential member of our kitchen family, creating strong bonds and friendships as you work together to deliver delicious meals.
A typical day as a Line Cook at our resort begins with a busy kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, and organizing your workstation to ensure a smooth service. As orders come in, you'll work closely with your fellow cooks and kitchen staff to execute each dish with precision and flair while maintaining our high quality and presentation standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will be essential in preventing cross-contamination and ensuring a safe dining environment for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Food preparation tasks and following standardized recipes, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
  • Cook and plate meals in an attractive manner, ensuring consistency and that each plate meets our presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following our sanitation guidelines and food safety regulations.
  • Perform quality control duties.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner when necessary.
  • Follow Margaritaville’s policies, procedures, and employee guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently, as well as multi-task to ensure timely food preparation and service
  • Able to collaborate with other line chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a positive and supportive kitchen environment.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • A commitment to quality and customer service
  • Able to adapt to new recipes, techniques, and menu changes while maintaining the resort's high standards.
Compensation & BenefitsHourly Wage: $16.00 - $18.00 based on experience and achievement
