About the Position:
Bevara is looking for a dedicated and resourceful Human Resources Generalist who is responsible for performing the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with the Human Resources Manager to support the entire team and will have both administrative and some strategic responsibilities. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, new hire onboarding and orientation, office bi-weekly payroll processing, employee relations, policy enforcement, affirmative action and employment law compliance. The ideal person for this role is a team player who is motivated to dive into the details and takes pride in efficiently supporting the team and business operations.
Responsibilities :
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Responsible for payroll processing for Office Staff, including biweekly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, including staff files, HRIS data, and other HR documentation.
  • Generate official internal documents such as Offer letters, Employee Status Change letters, Salary Change letters and Separation letters.
  • Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
  • Participate in developing department KPI, goals, objectives and systems.
  • Perform benefits administration to include change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communication benefits information to employees.
  • Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relations to established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 2-3 years' Human Resource experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent empathy, interpersonal, ethics and cultural awareness skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position requires a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Previous experience in Payroll & HR systems and programs preferred.
