About us
CCCBSD is fully accredited and licensed by the State of Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. It provides highly specialized academic programs to support the individual learning and communication needs of students from birth through age 22 and includes preschool, elementary, middle and high school students. Summer and after school programs provide student enrichment and opportunities for continued language and communication development. Additional programs include the Parent-Infant/Toddler Program (PIP), district-wide school consulting, outreach programs and American Sign Language instruction for infants and children, adults, families and the community.

Located in Beverly, Massachusetts, The Children's Center for Communication is a school for children ages 3 to 22 with unique developmental, physical, and communication needs. We are currently hiring an Intensive Special Needs Classroom Teacher as we expand our program for students with intensive developmental and communication needs. Small classroom of 3-5 students with an intensive faculty ratio using a communication-based model of instruction. Delivering an adapted curriculum, classroom instruction, therapeutic support, and use of instructional and communication technology including Assistive Technology and AAC.
Candidates should have experience working in a classroom or special needs setting - experience using Applied Behavior Analysis . Bachelor's degree preferred, not required. Related experience in Human Services and Behavior Management and ABA can be substituted for educational requirements. 206 day school year, July through June. You will receive support from a complete team of specialists including: SLPs, OTs, PTs, BCBA, School Counselor, Assistive Technology support, Adaptive Physical Education, Curriculum Specialists, and more. Recent graduates of Communication Disorders, psychology, or Teaching programs are encouraged to apply. We support our teaching assistants, through tuition reimbursement in developing a career track toward a masters degree and becoming a special needs classroom teacher.
