Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners LLP is an award-winning architecture and urban design firm committed to design excellence. Founded in 1968, we have offices in New York City, Washington DC, Boston, and Miami. Our New York office is currently seeking talented, creative, and motivated designers to work on complex projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use developments, and master plans.

Candidates for the Architectural Designer position must exhibit a strong design sense, sound technical skills, and an ability to contribute to a creative process to develop innovative design concepts and solutions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following attributes:

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Architecture
• Experience with multi-family, commercial, or mixed-use building design preferred.
• Strong graphics, design, organization, and communication skills.
• High proficiency in the use of Revit fluency in AutoCAD is a plus.
• Excellent skills in 3D Modeling (Rhino) and Rendering (Enscape, V-ray).
• Outstanding graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suites).
• Ability to communicate design ideas and direction clearly and effectively.
• Collaborative and professional work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of materials, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent problem solver with good listening skills and strong follow-through.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. The salary is commensurate with experience and ability ranging between $73,000 and $83,000 per annum, excluding bonuses and other benefits.  In addition to base salary, employees will participate in an annual performance review process with the possibility of receiving a performance-based bonus and base salary increase each year.
