Construction Material Testing (CMT) Field Engineering Technician (Carrollton, Texas)

Education/Experience Requirements

• High School or equivalent education required.
• Experience: 3 year (Preferred) in Construction materials Testing & Inspection
• Current certifications in ACI Concrete Field Testing - Grade I, TxAPA 1A/1B/SB102 preferred.

Required Job Skills

• Possess strong oral and writing skills to effectively communicate between project team members and clients.
• Possess the ability to perform field testing activities in an outdoor construction environment, which involves lifting heavy equipment and walking on uneven terrain in summer temperatures.
• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer tickets in the past 3 years.

Job Tasks

• Please note that vehicle travel will be required for driving to/from project sites.
• Candidate will be primarily performing soil, aggregate, concrete and asphalt sampling/testing.
