• Manages the recruitment and hiring process, generating job descriptions, posting advertisements, including scheduling and conducting interviews.
• Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations.
• Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed.
• Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating. Familiarity with Bamboo and Paychex Flex a plus.
• Explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees.
• Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records.
• Help develop, implement, support, and review all company initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems,
• Composure and confidentiality required to handle disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Manage confidential information.
• Perform other job functions as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

HR Credentials (e.g. PHR or SHRM-CP) desired. Five years successful work experience as a Human Resource Generalist, Specialist, administrator or other HR position required. Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures. Commitment to staying current on the understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
