RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer medication safely, accurately and per best practice, NYS and agency guidelines. Is attentive in monitoring for any adverse effects.
• Oversee and supervise care provided by the LPN and other health office staff.
• Provide assessments, monitoring and care to the youth in the event of physical restraint, following all regulatory requirements.
• Administer first aid during emergency situations and coordinates patient care until EMS arrives or the youth is transported to an emergency department.
• Perform assessments on clients with illness, injury, or health related/psychological concerns. Reports any significant finding to the appropriate medical provider and guardian, when appropriate. Carries out the prescribed intervention.
• Consult and coordinate with treatment team providers such as the MD, NP, and Clinician, as well as others as applicable to assure continuity and quality of care.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate’s degree in Nursing
• NYS license as a Registered Nurse
• Valid unrestricted New York State Driver's License and must meet agency driving and insurance standards.

Hourly rates from $32.00 Minimum Rate per hour, $42.75 Maximum Rate per hour, OR Flat $36.00HR Per Diem RN Rate
