Beyond Type 1 is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Health Impact Content Management and Community Education Lead. This position is pivotal in driving the development and management of Beyond Type 1 programs, health education resources, and community engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and scientific integrity of content, establishing partnerships for accreditation, and leading program evaluation efforts. The ideal candidate will be certified by ADCES or similar, and be able to work on content for both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and Resource Development:
  • Develop and manage Beyond Type 1 programs related to health impact and community education.
  • Oversee the creation of health education resources, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and engagement.
• Content Accreditation and Science Review:
  • Establish and maintain partnerships for content accreditation to enhance the credibility of Beyond Type 1 resources.
  • Conduct science and accuracy reviews of content to ensure it aligns with current medical standards and research.
• Program Evaluation:
  • Lead the evaluation of Beyond Type 1 programs to measure their impact and effectiveness.
  • Implement improvements based on evaluation findings to continuously enhance program outcomes.
• Community Education:
  • Develop and execute strategies for community education, fostering awareness and understanding of Type 1 diabetes.
  • Engage with diverse audiences through various channels to disseminate health information and resources.
• Interdepartmental Coordination:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate health resource creative development.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless program management and integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (health education, public health, etc.), Master’s degree preferred
• Proven experience in program development, health education, and community engagement
• Strong background in content accreditation and science review processes
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead interdepartmental coordination
• Expertise with diabetes-related issues, both 1 and 2, is highly desirable - priority for interviews will be given to those who hold certifications in diabetes educations (ADCES, etc)
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
