We have a great team, and we're growing fast, welcoming thousands of customers daily to do great activities. Having just secured our Series A funding, we're now looking for an Interim Head of Sales to lead our expansion efforts in the US market while covering for parental leave.
Role OverviewThis interim role will manage the sales team for three months starting immediately. You will be covering for the current Sales Director on parental leave, ensuring continuity in leadership and maintaining momentum in our US market expansion.

Our client base is broad and exciting, from Alpaca Farms, Zoos, and Wildlife Parks, Historic Houses and Attractions, to Festivals and Rally Driving experiences. Our product is industry-leading and feature-rich, meaning we can solve more problems and help more businesses optimize what they're doing online. Our revenue generation via Account Executives (AEs) is established, predictable, and well-structured. We’re seeking someone to leverage these processes and best practices into the US market, supported by our CEO and CCO.
Key Responsibilities
  • Quota attainment: Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth in the US market.
  • Manage Sales Team: Oversee a high-performing team of seven Account Executives, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with Marketing: Optimize lead generation, lead nurturing, and demand generation programs.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, serving as a hands-on sales leader and helping to actively close deals.
  • Coach and mentor Account Executives to help them achieve their targets and develop their sales skills.
  • Continuously assess and optimize sales processes, tools, and metrics to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with senior leadership to define and execute on the company's overall growth strategy.
  • Be a hands-on contributor in reaching our sales goals.
Monthly Responsibilities
  • Analyze and report on sales performance, including pipeline, conversion rates, win/loss analysis, and other key metrics.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the sales team to track progress against targets and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns to drive lead generation and sales growth.
Experience And Qualifications
  • 7 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
  • Expertise in the volume and velocity SMB market with deals closing daily.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving growth in a startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment.
