Compensation Data: $17.50-$22.00 non-exempt hourly pay based upon experience.

Location: Harrisonburg, VA – 100% onsite, M-F
Key Responsibilities
- Responds to inbound phone calls, emails, or website queries from customers, evaluates their needs and determines appropriate actions while taking responsibility for a timely resolution.
- Processes sales orders or assists customers and sales representatives with order creation and/or modification ensuring product availability and location, freight requirement, bill of lading exception, delivery minimum and pricing.
- Processes credit card payments prior to releasing order for shipment.
- Assesses damage or incomplete shipment claims to apply appropriate credit, return or destroy procedures.
- Takes responsibility for and follows through on open customer issues reported through Perfect Order system.
- Communicates and tracks order shipments and order changes to customers and works with internal departments to resolve customer issues promptly.
- Monitors assigned reports and takes appropriate action.
- Creates, reviews or modifies sales orders generated through annual trade show activities to reflect the warehouse ship from location, special customer pricing, discounts or credits. Communicates delivery dates to customer based on warehouse capacity.
- Business degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a customer facing role required.
- Experience in a wholesale distribution business to business environment is helpful.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with customers.
- Critical thinking skills to diagnose problems and recommend effective solutions.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Teamwork skills to collaborate with representatives and coworkers in other departments.
- Excellent Excel and general computer skills. (Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word).
