Project Manager
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Project Manager II will lead and drive IT development projects of all sizes and complexity from inception to post-production support while bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions within the organization.
The Project Manager II will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to understand the business objectives, identify areas for improvement, and translate these requirements into IT solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the planning, execution, and closure of complex IT projects, taking ownership of project deliverables and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Lead the gathering and documentation of detailed business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs. Create visual models such as process flows, data models, and use cases where needed to assist in this process.
Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including team members, vendors, and upper management. Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential risks.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements. Participate in testing activities to ensure that the final solution meets the specified criteria.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers/business analysts.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in business processes and IT solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other relevant certification.
Five plus years’ progressive experience in project management and/or business analysis within the Information Technology field.

Proficient in Project Management methodologies and tools.
In-depth understanding of business analysis techniques and documentation standards.
Experienced in Agile Project Management.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
Superior listening, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of management.
