BHHS Fox & Roach / Trident is Hiring a Trainer Near Berwyn, PA

JOB SUMMARY:

Teach technology skills to agents and/or employees. Evaluate needs, develop training materials, and present formal classes and seminars. Visit offices to provide individual and group training and promote available technology tools. Serve as a resource for agents and staff with technology questions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Job Functions)

  • Design and implement systems training for new and current technologies, including Web based systems, software, hardware, and other office equipment and communication technologies. Develop training materials such as handouts, online documents, and other presentation materials. (30-40%)
  • Schedule and facilitate group technology training classes. Training topics may include: basic Windows, MLS systems, palm devices, digital technologies, e-mail training, voice mail, MLS download software, and other real estate industry and company specific technology. (30-40%)
  • Attend staff and agent meetings to present and promote the company’s available technology. Coordinate the roll-out of new technologies. (10-20%)
  • Act as a technical resource for agents and staff. This may include responding to questions, providing one-on-one training, assisting with help desk duty, and assisting with hardware and software trouble shooting when visiting offices. (10-20%)
  • May help evaluate new software, hardware, and web based technology tools for the IT department. (0-10%)
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%)

  • Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience and knowledge.

Experience:

  • 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience with real estate industry technology programs preferred, including technical and operational knowledge of MLS system.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to create training manuals using graphics and high quality writing skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Ability to teach classes and facilitate discussions.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities. Service oriented.
  • Desire to constantly learn new technology related skills.
  • Effective analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):

  • Ability to travel to different offices to provide training.
