Position Summary
Housekeepers and Laundry Aides are skilled in a wide range of functions that help maintain and contribute to the appearance and cleanliness of the community.
Duties/Responsibilities
Cleaning rooms and public areas including vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash and soiled linens.
Stocking supply carts
Operating large laundry machinery
Qualifications
A minimum of six months experience in housekeeping or laundry.
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Observe and reports unusual symptoms, changes, accidents, and injuries to nursing staff in a timely manner.
Interacts with residents and family members in a cheerful and positive manner and shall be respectful of resident’s personal belongings.
Maintains an effective relationship with all departments and professional staff.
