Job Summary:
Responsible for the processing, settlement, confirmation and reconciliation of all Investment Products including CDs, Commercial Paper, ABS, MBS, and other Fixed Income Securities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Process, confirm, reconcile and settle all trades for our Investment Portfolio including CDs, School District & Public Finance Deposits, Death Calls and other Fixed Income Securities through OPICS system
2. Book General Ledger (“FTM”) Entries in IBS for IND and CDARS activity.
3. Wire all Fees through GIFTWeb wire system
4. Daily preparation of the Monetary Recap Report Rate Interface, Funds Held and FRB accounts.
5. Interact with the Trading Room and customers for all issues related to Investments.
6. Liaison with our Custodian Banks on all issues related to Securities in safekeeping.
7. Prepare SOX Reporting on a Quarterly Basis and Key Performance Indicators reporting on a monthly basis.
8. Reconcile all NOSTRO accounts and process FTM entries for related fees and FX transactions.
9. Prepare Daily BONY reports.
*Officer performs supervisory functions.
Qualifications Needed
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of processing, confirmation, reconciliation and settlement of the following: Fixed Income (fixed/floating rate); Certificate of Deposit;
Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of OPICS, a plus
• Knowledge of SWIFT
• Must be proficient in MS Office.
Competencies:
• Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline oriented department.
• Ability to come in early or stay late if the need arises.
• Reliable, organized, responsible, accurate, self-starter
• Detailed oriented, good/positive attitude, team player, and hard worker.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Education Required/Preferred: College Degree, Accounting Knowledge, preferred
