Job Description: BHMG -Full Time Occupational Therapist Elizabethtown The OT shall evaluate and treat patients, including developing the treatment plan and setting goals for patients. Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals. The OT will complete all documentation as outlined in policies and procedures, to insure compliance with all insurance and regulatory requirements. Will intervene appropriately to meet the needs of patients with impaired mentation, vision, hearing or mobility. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The following is a summary of the major functions of this individual's job. May perform other duties, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time. Evaluates patient & develops outcome oriented plan of care Provides treatment based on plan of care, revises as necessary Provides patient and family teaching Documents all aspects of care including evaluation, progress, teaching, charges, including computerized documentation, coding, meeting regulatory and insurance guidelines Participates in team meetings and rounds, including Family Conferences and individual patient meetings as needed Utilizes and maintains department equipment in safe and proper manner Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required: Current active or current temporary Kentucky Occupational Therapy License NBCOT Certification – strongly preferred BLS Certification If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!
