BHS Baptist Healthcare System is Hiring a Monitor Tech Part Time Days Near Elizabethtown, KY

Job Description: Full-time, day shift 7:00a-7:00p Job Description: The Monitor Tech/Unit Secretary monitors and interprets telemetry patient’s heart status and notifies nursing staff and providers of any dysrhythmias or abnormal findings and documents such in electronic medical record. Will be cross-trained to perform Unit Secretary duties as needed. Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent is required, or higher. Requires successful completion of Monitor Tech certification preferred within one year of hire. Successful completion of basic arrhythmia course required within 3 months of hire. BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days. Must demonstration excellent communication, customer service, telephone, organizational and critical thinking skills. Ability to use specialty equipment such as fax and computers is required. Must be able to multiple tasks and handle stressful situations.
