BHS Baptist Healthcare System is Hiring a Registered Nurse -CCU Nights Near Paducah, KY

Job Description: Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Creates a positive customer service environment. JOB DUTIES– Assessment and identification of patient needs and implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service. Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision; establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently. Has access to medication storage areas as required for job tasks. Follows Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures. Professional Practice is based on the theoretical framework of nursing at Baptist Health Paducah including principles of Relationship-Based Care, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Professional Practice, and the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act. QUALIFICATIONS – Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
