Job Description: The Manager of Collaboration Technology is a pivotal role responsible for providing strategic direction, designing, implementing, and maintaining all collaboration and technology services across the enterprise IT organization. This position works closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and develops both short-term and long-term strategies for service delivery and technology integration. The Manager of Collaboration Technology collaborates across various IT functional areas to drive innovation, value, and affordability for our client.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead collaboration activities in the areas of Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Office365 productivity tools.
• Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering growth and skill development to meet evolving challenges.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other leaders to establish a unified vision for a seamless experience across Conference Room, Desktop, and Mobile platforms for Microsoft Teams.
• Ensure consistency in internal operational processes and lead external technical teams in issue evaluation and resolution.
• Establish essential structures to support eye-on-glass monitoring and proactive alerting.
• Cultivate a culture passionate about product excellence and overall user experience.
• Drive innovation in collaboration technologies and contribute to setting strategic directions for unified communication tools.
• Evaluate and assess next-gen technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience leading teams of at least four to ten individuals, ideally in a team lead or managerial role for at least two years.
• Proficiency in productivity tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Office365.
• Proficiency in SharePoint administration and Power BI.
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for business process automation.
• Basic knowledge of project management best practices and standards.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments.
• Exceptional planning and management capabilities to handle multiple initiatives and priorities concurrently.
• Results-oriented self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
