The Pre-Sales AV Engineer will play a pivotal role in providing customers with professionally engineered and high quality AV offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand complex project solicitations
• Submit RFI’s through the design process
• Work with end users to assess their needs to develop cost effective systems
• Provide support for site surveys, client meetings and walk-throughs
• Develop Bill of Materials with associated cost
• Develop Scope of Work to go along with Bill of Materials
• Complete client proposal to include labor estimates, travel, shipping, etc.
• Actively work with manufacturers for product registrations and discounts
• Provide technical support to project managers
• Keep up to date records and archive work
• Provide reports to SE of the status of projects
• Develop functional line drawings and infrastructure for complete drawing packages using AutoCAD and/or Visio.
• Provide technical support to installation teams, field engineers and service technicians.

Qualifications:

• 5 years in Design/Engineering Role
• AVIXA CTS certification is preferred.
• Additional CTS-I and/or CTS-D preferred.
• Working knowledge of audio-visual manufactures product lines to include but not limited to: Extron, Q-Sys, Crestron, BiAmp, Logitech, Cisco, Poly, Barco, etc.
• Working knowledge of basic network typography as it pertains to AV to include streaming audio and video protocols.
• Continued enthusiasm to learn new product lines.
• Ability to work outside regular business hours when needed.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of various collaboration platforms to include Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc. Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast past engineering environment with strict deadlines.
• Ability to be on-site 5 days a week in Chester County, PA.
