Join our Managed Services team working on permanent projects for Microsoft. This is a remote role with a competitive annual salary of $104,000-$104,400, plus benefits. This position is exclusively for direct hires on W2 and is not open to C2C or any third-party arrangements.

Job Description

We are seeking well-rounded candidates with hardware test experience who can work with Microsoft’s internal teams and suppliers to develop and implement qualification plans and test cases for Microsoft's Cloud Hardware Server Systems. Testing will target all aspects of the Microsoft SKU and server environments (Rack Manager, BIOS, BMC, Power, Memory, Storage, FPGA, Network, Performance, Stress, etc.) across multiple operating systems.

Must Have Skills & Responsibilities

• Drive build-out and documentation of qualification test bed environments (KVM/IP, 40/50/100GbE, InfiniBand, Rack management, Power, Remote access, etc.)
• Build out of Virtualization infrastructure to support qualification test bed environments
• Work with Systems engineering and Automation teams to develop/enhance test cases for current and new technologies
• Debug and drive to resolution issues related to the qualification of Microsoft’s SKU environments
• Work with suppliers and internal teams on resolving issues
• Interact with multiple teams inside and outside of Microsoft
• Have Firmware understanding for debug purposes (ability to write or develop firmware is not required)
• Knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft SKU
• Knowledge of server environments (Rack Manager, BIOS, BMC, Power, Memory, Storage, FPGA, Network, Performance, Stress, etc.)
• Ability to develop and implement qualification plans and test cases
