The overall purpose of the project superintendent position is to supervise construction projects from beginning to end. The project superintendent will be ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate must possess an understanding of the construction business and have the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This person must also possess excellent interpersonal skills to keep clients at ease and up to date on the project.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of the residential construction process
• Previous superintendent experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Google accounts

​ Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining contact with clients.
• Correspondence with suppliers, sub-contractors and clients.
• Suppliers- Ordering materials.
• Subcontractors- Sending out schedules, layout, and job requirements in a timely manner.
• Clients- Responding in a timely manner to client requests and complaints, as well as job status updates.
• Being physically present at job site, ensuring quality, code compliance, and building and safety codes.
• Enforce Job site work environment cleanliness.
• Verifying quality of materials- Materials inspection.
• Familiar with organizing and coordinating town, city, and county building inspections.
• Maintaining schedule updates.
• Collecting scheduled payments.
• Reporting updates and progress to the business owner.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
• Attending daily company project status meetings.
• Initiating the change order process, and following the change order procedure.
