Biden for President is Hiring a Digital Rapid Response Amplification Strategist Near Wilmington, DE

The Biden for President campaign is seeking a Digital Rapid Response Amplification Strategist to lead our growing fast-paced digital rapid response team outreach efforts to key amplifiers - i.e. political groups and political creators. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how to interact with and maintain relationships with national content creators and allied groups, knowledge of the political landscape, and have a strong understanding of what types of content perform well with audiences and key constituency groups the campaign needs to engage.
Key Responsibilities
    • Lead strategy and outreach to amplifiers; build, leverage, and maintain relationships as necessary.
    • Work closely with BFP platform managers to draft sample content (social posts and video scripts) for distribution..
    • Ensure timely dissemination of pre-planned and rapid content to creators; establish a content calendar around big engagements and events.
    • Team up with our Digital Partnerships and Surrogates teams as needed to identify areas of collaboration.
    • Work closely with outside vendors and agencies focused on building out the amplifier universe.
    • Monitor media and social media trends to proactively identify potential content opportunities and craft preemptive strategies.
    • Identify opportunities for social briefings and training sessions for amplifiers as needed.
    • Analyze the impact of the program and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in communications, media, digital organizing, or a related field.
    • Has worked on at least one political campaign prior.
    • Demonstrate existing relationships with allied content groups, ie - You are in DM groups and have strong relationships with leads.
    • Exceptional ability to think strategically and act tactically under pressure.
    • In-depth knowledge of the political environment and media landscape, with keen analytical abilities to predict and react to changing scenarios.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear and compelling messages quickly and under pressure.
    • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with multiple teams and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.
    • Strong attention to detail, with a sharp eye for catching typos and ensuring accuracy in digital content creation and management.

    • Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, DE and available to work long hours, including nights and weekends, in a demanding campaign setting.
$80,000 - $90,000 a year
