The Biden For President Campaign is seeking a Director of Design Operations and Strategy to ensure that the design team's output is creative, strategic, and timely. The ideal candidate will have robust experience working on political campaigns, a strong perspective on how to make design collateral not only beautiful but also strategic, and experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced, high-production design shop.
This position reports to the Deputy Creative Director, Design. It is full-time in Wilmington, DE.
Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Deputy Creative Director for Design to implement the campaign brand through print and digital collateral
• Provide expert political guidance to the design team, ensuring that design prioritizes political strategy and campaign objectives
• Determine how to use limited design resources for maximum impact.
• Work with the design team project manager to set priorities and establish project timelines.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years in a leadership role in a high-production design shop focused on campaigns.
• Demonstrated judgment in implementing strategic political messaging through design.
• Experience juggling multiple high-priority, time-sensitive creative projects at once.
• Excellent design skills and a demonstrated ability to lead a team to top-tier design output.
• Rigorous attention to deadlines and experience guiding fast-moving projects toward successful on-time delivery.
• Experience with both political and print design.
• Enthusiasm for reelecting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
• Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, DE.

$120,000 - $145,000 a year
