We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and talented Pennsylvania Black Media
Director based in Philadelphia.
The Pennsylvania Black Media Director will drive in-state media coverage, messaging, and
digital partnerships to reach, engage, and mobilize Black voters. If you are interested in this role

This role will be based in the state campaign's Philadelphia HQ, and will require regular in
person work.
Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with national campaign headquarters and the state communications team to localize the campaign's national message to fit key objectives in-state.
• Lead on outreach to Black media outlets in Pennsylvania as well as Black digital spaces and Black content creators.
• Oversee all Black media components for the state, including producing materials, prepping and pitching surrogates.
• Execute strategies to reach beyond traditional media audiences and hit voters who are not regular consumers of political content - including through digital spaces.
• Identify digital content opportunities that highlight what's at stake for Black communities and how the Biden-Harris agenda has delivered for Black Pennsylvanians.
• Build strong relationships with trusted local messengers who can effectively reach thecommunity where they are.
• Other duties as assigned.

Other Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding and experience working with diverse Black communities
• Experience communicating across multiple audiences and channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated record of understanding both traditional and new media
• Knowledge of the digital landscape and how to partner with Black content creators
• Willing to relocate to Philadelphia.

$72,000 - $90,000 a year
