**Warehouse Supervisor mids Birmingham**

This is an exciting time to be part of Bidfood, as we look to add to our existing management team at the Birmingham depot. At our depot we will make over 2,500 deliveries to our customers each week, we have a number of teams who work together to deliver service excellence to our customers every day. We want to have passionate people working with us in Wakefield, we value our employees and strongly believe in developing our people for the future.

Youll work closely with the Warehouse Shift Manager to ensure all aspects of warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently; playing their part in the maintenance of the highest standards of customer service. Maintaining a high level of quality for all external and internal customers.

Youll make sure all goods are picked, checked and loaded correctly in a timely fashion, through effective supervision and development of the Warehouse Operatives team.

Youll also make sure all company assets and equipment are maintained, utilised and organised to very high levels to enable us to reach maximum levels of productivity and efficiency. Its vital that you back this up with strong attention to detail on all aspects of legislation, health & safety and audit.

You must bring experience in a fast-moving food distribution environment where you have successfully managed stock, systems, processes and people. Youll be passionate about great organisation and service delivery, with the flexibility and correct attitude to respond quickly to changing priorities. With a willingness to challenge processes and identify areas for improvement.

Instinctively knowing how to get the best out of your team and peers, youll seek out improvements to warehouse best practice whenever possible, and foster a strong teamwork ethic in all those around you.
