Big A Tech Search is Hiring an Information Technology Service Management Specialist Near Vancouver, WA

Project Coordinator

This is a non-technical job. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to manage and streamline various aspects of IT services, including Change, Asset, Incident, Knowledge, Problem, and Patch Management.

This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Candidates must reside in the United States and be open to relocation if not in the Vancouver, WA area. No sponsorship or C2C is available.

Background checks and drug tests are mandatory.

Pay Range: $60,000 to $70,000, plus an excellent benefits package.

What to expect:

  • Policy and Process Development: Contribute to the development and documentation of ITSM policies, processes, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Patch Management: Oversee Patch Management activities, maintaining a list of systems for patching and modifications as needed.
  • ITSM Platform Utilization: Use ITSM platform tools to support IT service delivery.
  • Change Management: Initiate and manage Change Management processes, adhering to established procedures and policies.
  • Asset Management: Maintain and update the Asset Management database, handle asset disposition and e-waste, and reconcile asset records with accounting.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align ITSM processes with business objectives, participating in relevant meetings and discussions.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Maintain and publish processes for Incident, Request, and Problem Management.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on ITSM metrics and trends.
  • Continuing Education: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ITSM and ITSM platforms.
  • Training Support: Assist in training IT teams and end-users on ITSM usage, features, and functions.

What you will need:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in Service Management coordination, process development, administration and configuration.
  • ITSM Platforms: Proficiency in Ivanti Service Manager, Ivanti Endpoint Manager, or other ITSM platforms.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams and engage with stakeholders.
  • Independence: Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Ivanti Certified Engineer (ICE), or other related credentials.
