We are seeking an experienced and strategic M&A Business Development Manager to identify, evaluate, and execute merger and acquisition opportunities that align with Big Brand Tire & Service’s growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent financial and analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex deal structures. It is preferred that this individual have a demonstrated history in a high-velocity M&A environment.

Key Responsibilities Summary:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive M&A strategy aligned with the company's long-term growth objectives.
  • Identify and activate potential acquisition targets and strategic partnership opportunities through market research and industry analysis.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on target companies, including financial, operational, and cultural assessments.
  • Assist in the creation of detailed financial models and valuation analyses to support M&A decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through all stages of the M&A process, from initial screening to integration team handoff.
  • Negotiate deal terms and structure transactions to maximize value and minimize risk.
  • Prepare and present M&A proposals and recommendations to senior management and the investment committee.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and other relevant stakeholders in the M&A ecosystem.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.

We are looking for someone with experience in the following:

  • Proven experience in M&A, corporate development, or investment banking (5 years preferred).
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of due diligence processes and deal structuring.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Number and value of successfully completed M&A transactions.
  • ROI and synergies achieved from completed acquisitions.
  • Quality and depth of the acquisition pipeline.
  • Efficiency in deal execution (time from identification to closing).
  • Post-merger integration success metrics.
