Senior Bookkeeper

Location – Brenham, TX

Position Summary:

· Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process

· Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner

· Perform payroll duties in a timely manner every pay cycle, including data input, error checking and payment processing through specific software

· Reconcile general ledger accounts

· Process vendor payments

· Post and deposit customer payments

· Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement

· Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and operating software

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Proven bookkeeping experience

· Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

· Work on special projects and other related duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

· Prior experience in accounting software

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

· General math skills

· Data entry skills
