Job Status: Full time, exempt

Reports to: VP, Program

JOB DESCRIPTION

BBBSI seeks a Director, Community-Based Match will be responsible for the overall management of a team that effectively implements enrollment and match support procedures in accordance with the BBBS brand and BBBSA Standards of Practice and oversee agency Match Activities. The Director will build, develop and coach staff in professional development and agency core values.

Candidates with a strong connection to the community that BBBSI serves, and the Southeastern Pennsylvania/Southern New Jersey area receive preferential consideration. Moderate travel to branch offices, community and corporate partners is required, as is some night and weekend work. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership, Management, Accountability? 

· Oversee the Community Based Program Team to ensure a high level of quality performance and individual team members’ professional development.? 

· Assess individual training, information and support needs for each staff member to ensure positive development and successful job implementation.? 

· Confirm that team members demonstrate high-level proficiency in, and application of child safety and risk management knowledge, policies and procedures throughout all aspects of job functions according to set standards of practice and agency policies while maintaining high metric performance.? 

· Responsible for hiring Community Based program staff and is responsible for overseeing training, developing, supervising and evaluating those employees; providing the tools to train, develop, supervise and evaluate program team staff.? 

· Foster a team culture of accountability, trust, professionalism and excellence. Standards and Process management. 

Compliance & Program Development 

· In partnership with the VP, Program, review and evaluate team processes and procedures including cross training and resource allocation to correct or enhance as needed to ensure effective and efficient work structures.? 

· Assist in the development and evaluation of policies and procedures to ensure that processes are efficient and meet agency goals and national standards.? 

Programming & Match Activities 

· Ensure smooth and efficient transition for pending matches from Enrollment and Matching to Match Support; and to ensure that volunteers and clients whose current matches have terminated are re-engaged/matched as appropriate. Intake, Support and Child Safety? 

· Monitor and evaluate the Community Based enrollment and match support procedures and effectiveness through managing staff and review of quality review feedback.? 

· Oversee Match Activity Work team including facilitating team meetings. Coordinate calendar of activity events to plan and budget for calendar year.? 

· Work with external partners to plan and facilitate all match activities. Manage logistics and staffing requirements.? 

· Work with community organizations and vendors to build mutually beneficial partnerships.? 

· Coordinate ticket distribution and thank you responses for donors. 

Grants & Metrics Reporting 

· Ensure child safety is a top priority throughout all processes, procedures and decisions by utilizes a high level of proficiency in applying child safety and risk management knowledge, policies and procedures throughout all aspects of the job. Grants and Reporting? 

· Track and manage program-related grants to ensure compliance with grant requirements; work closely with the finance and advancement teams on grant reporting and write program outcomes reports as needed.? 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Academic Requirements:?High School Diploma and 7 years relevant experience OR associate's degree and 5 years relevant experience or bachelor's degree and 6 years relevant experience 

Professional Requirements:?Must have demonstrated experience working with youth and adult populations; 5 to 8 years supervisory or Big Brothers Big Sisters agency experience required. Must have prior experience working with diverse populations and areas and be flexible in order to accommodate job responsibilities. Must be able to work independently without close management and possess a strong customer/client focus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software packages required. Individual transportation required.?
