Job Summary
Responsible for answering “Little” inquiries and providing Little orientations. In addition, performing a variety of duties that relieve other staff of administrative detail, allowing them to focus on essential responsibilities. This is a multifaceted position involving office administration, data entry, and general event support. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to multitask are key to this position. Success of the position is based on timely and accurate completion of duties.
Responsibilities
Manage Little inquiries
Conduct Little orientations
General office coverage, including maintaining regular hours of 9:30 to 5:00, M - Th
Conduct references calls as needed/assigned.
Record donor and client information in agency databases as gifts, pledges, or contributions as needed.
Conduct data entry of donors and constituents through agency CRM/donor database software.
Support sending out appeals through printing and collating of materials, addressing envelopes, etc.
Assist with event coordination, including but not limited to: scheduling, invitation distribution, handling of logistical information during all phases of events, both match and fundraisers.
Actively participate in agency meetings related to all aspects of agency operations.
Participate in agency events and perform additional tasks assigned by the Executive Director.
Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Perform duties and activities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, guiding principles, and service standards.
Present self professionally. Dress is casual/professional.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, and Adobe
Detail oriented
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time
Comfort with online tools and reporting systems with willingness to learn new systems
Possess excellent writing, speaking, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with volunteers, parents, and children
Ability to form and sustain appropriate relationships with staff, volunteers, agency partners, and youth and families from diverse backgrounds
Knowledge of social media platforms desired, but not required
Database management experience desired, but not required
