We are currently looking for 2 State Certified Portuguese (BR) simultaneous interpreters for an onsite legal appt

This is 2-week trail starting on Tuesday September 3rd, 2024

Est length: 8 hrs

Time: 9 am EST

Location: Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles Central District, Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Dept. 16, 111 N. Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012

The Requirements and Qualifications:

• Business License required
• State Certified
• Legal Interpreting Training OR Certification Preferred
• Be fluent in both English and Portuguese (BR)
• Have strong verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Be familiar with note taking and memory techniques.
• Professional and courteous behavior
• Be accustomed with the consecutive interpretation process.
• Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics

Rate: From $50.00 per hour

*Rate is subjective based on experience, training, education and location. There are some situations where the rate could be outside the notated range.
