Description We are looking for a driven individual to take on our most challenging responsibility of Store Manager. This individual will be responsible for guiding our team and providing excellent service to our valued customers. This position requires a detailed, team minded leader, who brings a positive, enthusiastic attitude to the workplace every day. If you are able to handle a fast paced, ever changing environment, we want to speak with you! Knowledge of farm, ranch and outdoor merchandise is preferred. Requirements
Provide friendly & helpful customer service at all times. Possess a positive attitude and professionalism.
Greet and assist all customers in the store.
All associates are expected to conform to the scheduled work hours and shifts set by store management. Must be capable of working on their feet for long periods of time, and capable of standing, walking, bending and/or kneeling, consistently throughout the workday.
All associates should be capable of pushing, pulling and/or lifting up to 30 pounds without assistance consistently and sometimes 50 pounds throughout the workday.
Background Check will be required - any irregularities must be approved by management.
Store Managers are required to work 45 hours per week.
Management & administration duties to include employment processing, payroll & timesheet management, register balancing and daily reporting to Home Office, store procedures and delegation of responsibilities.
Additional Responsibilities (not all inclusive):
General cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the store
Assist Customers and co-workers, when available, throughout the workday. Including inventory stocking and control, department upkeep based on company directions.
Answer phones, 2-way radio calls, make announcements over PA system, with clear, pleasant and professional methods of communication.
Computer & Point of Sale system knowledgeincluding transaction processing, product lookup, inventory verification and availability.
Will be responsible for supervision of employees including creating and distributing daily assignments, training new employees, and cross training employees for other departments.
Advanced knowledge of Store products is desired - including Tack, Pet Supplies, Feed, Sporting Goods, Hardware, Automotive, Clothing, Boots and Accessories.
