As a Manufacturing Technician , the primary job function will be to assist and support with fabrication and assembly of electronic and mechanical products. This also includes Testing and Quality Assurance of both in process and final product. Tasks will include production of Eddy Current Probes, cables and mechanical sub-assemblies from schematics and assembly drawings.
*** We are currently seeking individuals with Eddy Current Probe Manufacturing or Technician experience. Those with Eddy Current Probe experience are highly encouraged to apply. ***
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabricating hardware sub-assemblies from CAD drawings using both verbal and written instructions.
• Work with small parts to perform hand assembly of finished product.
• Perform calibration testing, evaluation and/or repair on electronic and mechanical equipment. Early-stage quality control functions to ensure product conformance.
• Soldering, crimping wire and connector assemblies of small products.
• Provide diagnostic "troubleshooting" support when needed.
• Provide timely/accurate departmental feedback on product performance, and opportunities for product improvement.
• Assist and support general production duties including keeping work areas clean and maintained while also maintaining a safe working environment.
• Experience or willingness to learn basic operation of Manual Lathes and Milling Machines strongly desired.
• Operate basic shop tools including buffers, handheld Dremel, drills, cutting/grinding wheels and sanders.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Basic writing skills and mathematical fluency required.
• Two years or equivalent experience preferred.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Consistency in performing responsibilities that support the continual improvement of company's unique line of inspection equipment.
• Ability to work on a self-directed team with limited supervision.
• Ability to operate in a multi-tasking environment of constantly changing priorities.
• Use of Calipers/Micrometers for measuring.
• Ability to complete company goals/tasks in a timely manner, and at times, work under aggressive production schedules, and situations when needed.
• Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
