Bignault & Carter, LLC is a general practice firm with additional practice in diverse Union Labor issues and multi-employer plans. The firm currently has an opportunity which can be fulfilled by any of the following professionals: Paralegal, Law Clerk or Associate Attorney.
Duties Include:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support attorneys in case preparation
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials
- Maintain case files and update case management systems
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as directed by
attorneys
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars
Qualifications:
- Must have Juris Doctorate and sat for the Georgia Bar
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in legal research databases and software
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with court procedures and legal terminology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
