Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year nearCentralia, WA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and overall success in school.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement interventions and support plans for students.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Participate in the special education eligibility process and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Consult with school staff to promote a positive and inclusive school climate.
- Stay current on best practices in the field of school psychology and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid Washington state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
