Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency medicine, dementia care, medication administration, and possess a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital environment where patient care is paramount.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with procedures such as spinal taps and other medical interventions
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management strategies

Experience:

- Previous experience in a hospital or medical/surgical setting preferred
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of occupational health practices and protocols
- Ability to handle various medical ailments and emergencies effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current RN license and BLS certification required

Candidates with prior experience as a registered nurse, RN Tele, Med/ Surg, or nurse RN can also apply
