Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

Reporting to the Director of Design, this Senior Designer plays a pivotal role In shaping BILL's visual identity and elevating our brand, across a suite of internal and external storytelling materials. They partner with our executives and leadership across Brand, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Sales, and Content teams to define an overarching system for our communications, and ensure that our visuals consistently reflect and amplify our brand across all visual storytelling mediums, such as internal marketing, sales materials, product vision documentation, and more. They will expertly translate complex ideas into effective, dynamic narratives and presentations, which align with and evolve our brand guidelines.

This role will lead design for a suite of highly visible, branded communications and internal resources, including defining a presentation design process from start to finish, building and managing a design library of templates, backgrounds, decks, imagery, and themes which are utilized by the entire company, and work with stakeholders and leadership to craft concise and compelling narratives which directly drive our success. They act as design leaders, driving a design culture of excellence, including mentoring peers and junior members of the creative team.

The ideal candidate has a deep portfolio of experience designing clear and appealing presentations and infographics which effectively communicate ideas, and drive business results. They are an excellent communicator and collaborator, with a high attention to design detail and commitment to design craft. They are steady and speedy problem solvers, adept at addressing technical and layout issues and motivated to develop easy-to-use tools which enable effective communication across the company.

We'd love to chat if you have:

• At least six years of visual design experience in an in-house creative studio or agency.
• An exceptional portfolio showcasing professional, on-brand, presentation design, and a high standard for typography and visual design
• Strong conceptual abilities and a talent for storytelling.
• Technical motion design skills would be advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to clearly convey design intent, advocate for their work, and suggest alternative ideas to peers and senior leadership.
• Committed to maintaining a high standard of creative quality for themselves and others, while always striving to find the best solution to meet company goals.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills, collaborative mindset, and adept at working cross-functionally.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL's bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
