Bill Palmer Insurance, Inc is a full service independent agency that was founded in Lancaster, Ohio in 1977. We work with our customers to match-up the right company, product, and coverage for each situation. That is why we have been so successful. Helping our customers discover their unique needs, then searching and tailoring products and services to match those needs, allows us to create a partnering relationship. We are looking for either a part-time or full-time licensed agent.

Responsibilities

Answer phones, greet clients, work with other agents and company personnel to sell/service/maintain policies, assist clients with policy-related questions, coverage updates, claim inquiries, update customer information accurately in our management system, collaborate with team members to effectively resolve customer issues and provide support, and take premium payments.

Qualifications

 High School diploma, prior experience in insurance is preferred but not required, must have a minimum of 3 years experience in customer service, sales or related field, Ohio Property & Casualty license will be required if not already licensed, must be organized and be able to multitask, must have computer skills and typing skills, must be able to work as a team member, must be friendly and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, passion for helping others.
