It is the goal of the Retail Fulfillment Center Shipping Associate to ensure the accurate and timely shipping of all E-Commerce and Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) orders. This position requires a highly productive and self-starting individual who demonstrates skill in the product fulfillment process of wine and merchandise. The expectation is that this position will extend and surpass the guest service and satisfaction that has built brand loyalty among off-site guests and ensure that guests' expectations are being exceeded at every service opportunity.

Reserve: a position working an average of 20 hours per week (anywhere between 40-999 hours per year).

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

1. Work with our order entry team to prepare, pick and ship orders.

2. Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure accurate and timely package delivery to our guests.

3. Demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and speed in handling guest orders.

4. Maintain wine and merchandise inventory in a neat, orderly and safe manner.

5. Assist with special projects such as preparing freight shipments and other large orders.

6. Receive, unload and stock deliveries from Distribution Center and Wine Production.

7. Assist with accurate on-hand inventory counts for our products.

8. Communicate with appropriate teams regarding shipment delays and errors.

9. Provides support for all areas of the Fulfillment Center.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.

2. Provide general assistance and support for Retail Fulfillment and Distribution Center.

3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

4. Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education, training and/or certification(s) preferred.

2. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a warehouse shipping and receiving setting. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience working in a high end retail or e-commerce environment.

3. Strong computer and data entry skills in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.

4. Knowledge of FedEx and UPS shipping software is a plus.

5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to clearly, concisely and effectively convey information verbally and in writing.

6. Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail and quality; must be able to prioritize work effectively in a dynamic environment.

7. Must have a strong work ethic and solid work history with verifiable references.

8. Must be proactive, able to take initiative and able to exercise good judgement.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

2. Ability to visually identify merchandise, color recognition and distinguishing features.

3. Frequent bending, stooping and turning while supporting packages of various weights.

4. Ability to safely lift 50 pounds frequently.
