Job Title: Information/Application Security Engineer

Location: Dallas TX Onsite

Duration: 12 months

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Information/Application Security Engineer to join our IT Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our applications, especially those developed using .NET microservices. This role involves securing application infrastructure, data masking, handling security breaches, and ensuring day-to-day security operations, with a strong focus on Azure environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in application security, information security, or a related role.
• Strong experience with .NET technologies and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in securing Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of data masking techniques and tools.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.
• Understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate).
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of encryption technologies and key management.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
