This is a 6 Months Contract Opportunity

Project: Active Directory (AD)

1. Perform an audit of existing AD groups and update as needed
2. Document the process for managing AD groups (include roles/responsibilities)
3. Communicate expectations for AD Groups upon completion of documentation.

Responsibility:

• Plans, organizes, manages, controls, and communicates on all phases of a project.
• Develops and maintains a detailed project plan/schedule with the team and manages the team’s execution of project tasks.
• Creates scope document and reviews with applicable parties through Project Sponsor approval.
• Manages risks and escalates issues that cannot be resolved in the team.
• Secures acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor and Stakeholders.
• Works with resource managers to secure project resource needs and availability.
• Provides recurring status reporting, including project health, accomplishments, upcoming activities, and milestone tracking to project sponsor, stakeholders, and project team.
• Tracks project financials: actuals, estimate to completion and variances ($ and explanation) to original budget. Financial tracking includes all external hard costs.
• Holds vendor accountable to completing agreed upon tasks within established timelines. Works with the vendor to manage risks and resolve issues.
• Closes the project in a controlled manner, conducts lessons learned and obtains project closure sign-off.

Experience and Skills needed:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Active Directory experience required
• Experience establishing mature processes, preferred
• Project management experience required
• NOTE:
• project team does not have formal project methodology
• the role will be expected to play a PM leadership role and not a PM Administrative role
