    Position Overview :

    The Front Office / Store Supervisor plays a crucial role in the daily operations of both the Front Office and Camp Store departments.

    Reporting directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, this position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a dedication to delivering outstanding customer service.

    Duties & Responsibilities :

    Administrative Duties :

    • Assist in researching and identifying vendors and merchandise for the camp store.
    • Check-in merchandise promptly and accurately, entering it into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
    • Complete required reports in a timely manner.
    • Schedule staff, monitor payroll, and ensure compliance with payroll budgets.
    • Conduct daily stand-up meetings with store staff to prioritize tasks and gather feedback.
    • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for the store department.
    • Assist in developing and executing training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff members.

    Daily Duties :

    • Supervise and motivate a team of store clerks, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.
    • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the camp store.
    • Monitor cash drawers and ensure adherence to cash handling procedures.
    • Oversee charge-to-site transactions to ensure they are paid in full.
    • Answers incoming phone calls, live chat, and emails on time.
    • Makes / Edits reservations in campground software per policies

    Other Essential Duties :

    • Collaborate with other park and home office departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Coordinate and oversee various projects from inception to completion.
    • Respond to guest inquiries using the company’s service recovery guidelines.
    • Utilize and become proficient in the reservation system for daily planning.
    • Participate in additional projects and activities as assigned.

    Education / Training / Experience :

    • Customer service experience is required.
    • Experience in hospitality and leadership roles is preferred.

    Qualifications / Requirements :

    • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems.
    • Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in task execution.
    • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
    • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Essential Physical Demands :

    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
    • Regularly move throughout the store.
    • Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl.
    • Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
