Our College Station Transportation group has a need for a Project Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine aspects of civil engineering assignments including preparation of engineering calculations, engineering reports, construction documents and subsequently providing familiarity with programs, staff, and operating procedures of the Company. 

What you will do:

• Engage in business development efforts on behalf of the Company. 
• Represent the Company in professional, civic and political organizations and activities. 
• Develop and deepen relationships with current and prospective clients. 
• Perform civil engineering design calculations; develop construction plans, specifications, feasibility studies and other technical reports. 
• Manage budget and hours to develop designs and plans that achieve our client’s goals and objectives while meeting schedule commitments and budget requirements. 
• Establish clear communication with public agencies during the technical review process. 
• Other duties as assigned.

You are a critical thinker with excellent analysis and problem-solving abilities. You are accomplished at oral and written communication with exceptional listening and comprehension skills. You have above average computer literacy and technical capabilities. What you bring:

• An undergraduate or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas (1-2 year PE).
• Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience. 
• Drainage experience required, but will also work on water, sewer, and pipeline. 
• Open Roads Designer and HEC-RAS preferred 
• Project management skills. 
• Critical thinking skills. 
• Complex data interpretation skills. 
• Adapt new concepts quickly while working under pressure.
