BIO Labcorp Bioanalytical Services LLC is Hiring a SUPERVISOR III Near Chantilly, VA

At Labcorp, your role is vital to improving the health of family, friends and animals. Supervises a laboratory team conducting bioanalytical analysis in support of preclinical and clinical studies. Ensures scientific quality and client service targets are achieved Performs people management duties including but not limited to recruitment activities, ensures staff are trained, addresses performance issues, recognition, performance evaluation activities, and salary administration. Facilitates employee career advancement activities in an effort to drive employee satisfaction and engagement. Assists with routine client visits and regulatory audits, as needed. Assists and/or addresses facility and/or process audits, as needed Establishes, monitors, and drives metrics to measure process performance Establishes and leads teams to identify process improvement opportunities, recommends solutions, and implements action plans Responsible for assuring staff compliance to SOPs and other regulatory agency guidelines, as applicable Discusses study problems or scope changes with appropriate personnel, suggests solutions and actions to solve study problems, manages the impact on time Contributes to long-range equipment, personnel, and space planning Assists in meeting project goals within technical, time and budgetary constraints Assist in addressing study and process issues, including corrective and preventative action plans that may be required Promotes a cohesive team environment. Acts as a mentor to other staff. Participates in project meetings, plans, monitors and guides project work. May interact with internal and external clients. Ensures a clean and safe laboratory work environment. Performs other duties as assigned Experience: Minimum Required: 3-5 years related laboratory and/or industry experience 1-2 years of supervisory experience Client facing experience ELIZA experience highly recommended Effective verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of regulations, preferably in a contract laboratory environment Interpersonal skills Ability to time manage, plan, prioritize, and negotiate Ability to lead meetings and presentations Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses Recommended: BS/BA degree in Science, or equivalent degree. Experience may be substituted for education. Pay Range (annually) $65,000 to $90,500 (dependent upon experience) Excellent training provided with extensive benefits including a variety of medical plans (starting on the 1st of the month following your start date), dental plans, and vision plan; 24 days of PTO in the first year, tuition reimbursement, 401K with 5% matching, employee stock purchase plan and much more.
